Ava Percy is one of our youngest Self-Advocates at age 13. While chatting over Zoom, she told me she prepared her answers and was happy to share them with the world. While talking with Ava, her maturity, intelligence, adventurous spirit, and love of art/sports shines through. She wants the world to know, “we’re just regular kids”.
Ava enjoys gym class, especially basketball and volleyball as well as playing dodgeball. She loves art class because you can use your imagination and get creative. She also enjoys reading, sleeping, hanging out with her family and friends. She likes being a teenager and she loves her family!
