What is Year-End Giving?
Year-End Giving comprise Chromosome 18’s most important fundraiser of the year, and it’s easy to get involved!
In the early days of Chromosome 18, families would host “Phantom” Tea & Wine parties and send cards to their family, friends, and supporters asking them to sip tea or wine on the first Sunday in December and make a gift to the Registry in honor of a chromosome 18 loved one. Now, while many families still host tea and wine parties at the end of the year as a way to support the Registry, others prefer to simply give a generous year-end donation to show how important the Registry is to them.
As the year comes to a close, we ask our members to make a year-end gift through one of many different ways we have available for you to give. From online gifts, to matching donations, to hosting a party in your home or from afar in honor of a chromosome 18 loved one, you can support vital chromosome 18 research this December and make a lasting impact for children, adults, and their families impacted by rare chromosome 18 conditions.
