Audrey Harzke

Community Impact Coordinator

Audrey was raised in San Angelo, Texas, where she first discovered her passion for neuroinclusivity and disability advocacy through her involvement in an inclusive physical education program in high school. She went on to attend Texas A&M University, graduating in 2023 with bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in equity, social justice, and community-centered support systems.

After graduating and moving to San Antonio, Audrey continued pursuing work that aligned with her commitment to disability advocacy. She has professional experience in nonprofit program support, pediatric therapy, and family-centered administrative coordination. In addition to her professional roles, she has spent almost ten years volunteering with organizations that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Audrey currently resides in San Antonio with her dog, Brazos, a six-year-old Great Dane with dwarfism. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active.

Audrey is thrilled to join the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society and is honored to support its mission of connecting and empowering families, strengthening research, and helping build a more inclusive future.
