Play 18 holes at the beautiful Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, TX while raising money to help special-needs children and adults with chromosome 18 abnormalities live healthy, productive lives.
Pre-event ticket sales for the Starfish Soiree on Thursday October 9th have closed, but you can still purchase tickets in person for $50 each at the door at Oak Hills Country Club starting at 6:00pm.

The Starfish Soireé
The Starfish Soiree – Thursday October 9th, 2025, 6:00PM

Join your fellow golfers, their loved ones, chromosome 18 families, and community members in celebration of the Annual Golf Tournament. The reception will feature specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, wine pull, and silent and live auction, all while taking in the breathtaking natural beauty at Oak Hills Country Club. Included in your registration for the Tournament is admission for you and one guest to attend the Soiree. It’s an evening dedicated to celebrating our achievements, sharing inspiring stories of our special-needs children and their families, and setting the stage for the road ahead. The Soiree is a celebration of the impact that you have on those affected by chromosome 18 conditions – by playing in the Tournament, you are supporting research to make rare chromosome 18 conditions the first treatable chromosome abnormalities.

Chromosome 18 is excited to announce the return of our Annual Golf Tournament for the 21st year! Join us on Friday, October 10th for a fun-filled day of golfing in support of our chromosome 18 children and families. Play 18 holes at the beautiful Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, TX while raising money to help special-needs children and adults with chromosome 18 abnormalities live healthy, productive lives.
The day will begin with registration at noon, a light lunch at 12:30 PM, followed by a short program at 1:15 PM and shotgun start at 1:30 PM. Players will be allowed to warm up with unlimited golf balls on the driving range and putting green before being assigned to their cart. Following a brief description of the rules, a short welcome, and a balloon release in memory of the children and adults affected by chromosome 18 conditions we have lost, everyone will disperse to the 18 holes. The game is best ball along with additional hole events and prizes, all for an amazing cause. The Tournament will conclude with an awards ceremony and hors d’oeuvres. Our 21st year will bring the best golf tournament yet, we can’t wait to see you there!
