Tam Aldrup

Tam Aldrup lives in Loudon, TN with her husband Dave and son David (T18p). She's been involved with the Registry for 25+ years and has tremendous gratitude for the support this organization has given her family.

In 1993 when Tam, Dave and their 2 daughters were living in the Cleveland Ohio area, David Jr was born without major issues; but it soon became apparent that "something just wasn't right". He was diagnosed with Tetrasomy 18p (mosaic) at 6 months of age, and the adventure began! After several years of going it alone they found The Chromosome 18 Registry and Research Society and finally had other families with which to connect. The family moved to the Houston area in 2005 and David Jr participated in a research study in San Antonio. Tam served as the Texas Area Coordinator for several years. The family moved to Tennessee in 2024 where Tam enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling, and being involved in her Church community.
