Jacqueline Nguyen Mo
Jacqueline Nguyen Mo lives in Orange County, California. She has a background in Media Arts and Animation, and went to UCLA and The Art Institute with over 11 years of animation experience, and over 15 years of entrepreneurship for her online business for my arts and crafts. She enjoys volunteering at her kids' classes at school and chaperoning field trips. Jacqueline’s connection to the Chromosome 18 community began when she found out her son Leo, was diagnosed with Tetrasomy 18p when he was still in her womb. Leo is now 10 years old, happy, healthy, and thriving! Jacqueline became a member shortly after Leo was born and has participated in the virtual Chromosome 18 Research and Society 5k Starfish Dash for several years now. In their role as West Region Coordinator, Jacqueline hopes to share her son’s journey with tetrasomy 18p and celebrate the joy, strength, and perspective he brings into our lives. Through storytelling, creativity, and photography, she loves giving back to the disability community by offering free photos to families—capturing moments that deserve to be seen, cherished, and celebrated. Jacqueline's hope is to spread awareness, connection, and the simple, beautiful joy her son shares with everyone he meets. Outside of volunteering, Jacqueline enjoys creating art, crafting, watching movies, hanging out with friends, exploring new cuisines and boba drinks, and spending time with her husband and kids.
