Dr. Daniel Hale, MD, is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Dallas and completed his pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. After completing his pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Hale served on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then returned to his native Texas, where he was the division chief of pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. While in Texas, he developed the pediatric clinical research center. Subsequently, he directed numerous clinical research projects and played a significant role in the Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center. He returned to Pennsylvania to become the division chief of pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hale has been an avid supporter of the Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center for over 20 years.
