Student and Intern Experience

The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society has established collaborative relationships with several academic and community organizations, including Alamo Colleges, the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas A&M San Antonio, Trinity University, SA Works, the City of San Antonio, and the Family Service Association. These partnerships are instrumental in hosting work-study associates and interns. By engaging with these community partners, the society not only spreads awareness about its mission but also enhances community involvement. This collaboration offers invaluable, practical experience to the associates and interns, enriching their professional development. Feedback from past work-study associates and interns has been positive, reflecting the impactful and meaningful experiences they gained while working with the society.
