Phantom Tea & Wine and End of Year Giving comprise Chromosome 18’s most important fundraiser of the year, and it’s easy to get involved! This virtual celebration has been a tradition for over 25 years for our families and friends. During this time, we ask our members to invite their family and friends to enjoy tea or wine together in celebration of your chromosome 18 loved one (virtual or in person), and remember The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society in their end of year charitable gifts.
Look for the package in the mail or you can join in virtually at our digital fundraising page HERE – just click the button that says “I want to join this fundraiser” to create your own fundraising page. Enjoy a beverage with friends, and help us make sure we keep the programs, research and Registry funded to support all our Chromosome 18 families.

How Does Phantom Tea and Wine Work?
There are two ways to participate in Phantom Tea & Wine and End of Year Giving:

- Share your fundraising page with your family and friends
- Ask them to remember Chromosome 18 in their end of year gifts and company matching charitable donations
Want to join Phantom Tea & Wine?
- Start a fundraising page – click HERE and select the button that says “I want to fundraise for this”
- If you want to send out a hard copy invite, download Phantom Tea or Phantom Wine invitations. If you’d rather send a virtual invite, the invitations are fillable PDFs and you can save and attach them to an email invite with the link to your fundraising page.
- Send your invitations and invite your friends and family to join you for a virtual or in-person tea/wine party to sip and donate in honor of your chromosome 18 loved one.
Why Participate?
The vast majority of our funding comes directly from Chromosome 18 families and their friends and families who want to make a difference in the lives of every affected person and their loved ones. Without your generosity and support, we would not be able to carry out our research! We count on you, our amazing families and supporters, to secure lifesaving chromosome 18 research into 2024.
