David Garza

David was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He is currently enrolled at San Antonio College majoring in Accounting Technology, and he will graduate in Fall 2022.

Prior to becoming the Accounts Supervisor, he was Chromosome 18’s part-time Accounts Assistant for three years. He was originally placed through the Alamo Colleges Work Study program, and after the College Work Study program finished, he moved on to work at a public accounting firm. However, working with the Chromosome 18 team and families over the years really changed his perspective and what he values, so when the opportunity arose for him to come back to Chromosome 18 as the Accounts Supervisor, it was an easy decision for him to apply for the position.

In his free time, David loves spending time with his spouse watching shows and playing games together, playing with his two cats, JoJo and Phantom, and hanging out with friends.

Now that he is back with the organization full-time, he is excited to work with the team again and to continue helping our Chromosome 18 families
