What if someone said they could put back the missing piece or take
away a duplication of a chromosome, would you do it? This is a question that
unfortunately cannot be asked just yet. Why you ask? Because the techniques for
doing this just do not exist. For now, it remains something that cannot be
done, however Dr. Cody stresses in this video that nothing is impossible.
As of today, a single cell can be altered in a petri dish, but the body is made
up of so many cells that cannot be altered due to the size and the delivery of
these changes. The question remains, how would you get all the cells into the
body’s different systems?
Still, lots of
research remains to be done in the future. Perhaps upregulating or down
